Website Designers in Kent
Looking for website designers in Kent? Here is the work we have built for Kent businesses, from Maidstone to Folkestone, and what separates a site that just looks good from one that brings you customers.
If you are looking for website designers in Kent, the first thing worth knowing is that a good website is not simply a nice-looking one. It is a fast, findable site that turns visitors into enquiries, built to be understood by Google and easy to use on a phone. Plenty of agencies can make something that looks smart in a portfolio. Fewer build sites that actually bring the phone calls, and that difference is the whole point of paying for one.
We are Seonat, a UK agency, and over three years we have designed and built websites for businesses right across Kent, from a security specialist in Maidstone to roofers in Hythe and Folkestone. This page is the honest version of what we do: real Kent sites we have built, links so you can go and use them yourself, and a plain explanation of what separates a website that looks good from one that earns its keep. You can flick through every site we have made in the showcase on our homepage, and here are some of the Kent ones.
A good website is not the one that looks best in a portfolio. It is the one that loads fast, gets found on Google, and turns visitors into enquiries.

What we actually build
Look closely at the sites above and they share something beyond looking tidy: they are quick, they work properly on a phone, and they are built to be found. That is deliberate. A website is a tool for winning customers, not a brochure, and we design every one around that job.
Underneath, we do not use the heavy templated page builders a lot of cheap sites are thrown together with. We build on a modern coded stack, which is why our sites load quickly and stay fast as a business grows. In our experience, building a Kent business a website on a modern coded stack works better than a templated page builder because it loads faster, holds up better on Google's speed measurements, and does not bog down under a pile of plugins the way a builder site tends to. If you want the detail on the options, we wrote a guide to the main website platforms and how we choose between them.
Every site also ships with the technical groundwork that helps it get found: clean structure, proper search-engine markup, and a build the search engines can read easily. Design and being findable are not two separate jobs to us, they are the same job.
And we build the part that actually matters, the enquiry itself, to be effortless. A contact form that works the first time and a phone number that is never more than a tap away do more for a Kent business than any amount of visual polish, because a site that makes people hunt for how to get in touch is a failure dressed up as a success. Every business we showcase above has that built in, which is a large part of why the sites earn their keep rather than just sitting there looking smart.
See them in action
The best way to judge a website designer is to use the websites. On our homepage there is a showcase that flicks through every site we have built, desktop and mobile, so you can watch how each one behaves rather than take our word for it. Open a few on your phone too. Speed and how a site feels on a small screen are where a lot of Kent business websites quietly fall down, and it is the easiest way to tell a considered build from a rushed one.
Working with a website designer in Kent
You do not strictly need a designer on your doorstep, plenty of good work happens remotely, but there is a genuine benefit to a team that knows the area and the businesses that work here. We have built for Kent trades, Kent specialists and Kent service businesses, so we understand what a roofer in Folkestone or a plumber in Maidstone actually needs from a site: to be found by local people searching for the job, to look trustworthy, and to make getting in touch effortless.
That local grounding shows in the work. The sites above are not templates with a town name swapped in, they are built around what each business does and who it serves.
Where you are
What a website has to do differs by town more than most people expect. A trade site built for the Romney Marsh needs to load on a weak signal; one built for a professional firm in the county town is competing on credibility against firms with far longer histories. We have written up each area we work in and what we actually see there:
- Website design in Ashford
- Website design in Maidstone
- Website design in Folkestone and Hythe
- And the other towns we cover: Canterbury, Medway, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge
Where to start
If you are weighing up website designers in Kent, judge us the way we would judge anyone: go and use the work. Open the sites above, try them on your phone, and see how fast they load and how easy they are to get around. That tells you more than any sales pitch.
Then, if you would like the same for your business, our website design service builds fast, findable sites for businesses across Kent and the wider UK, and we are happy to talk through what yours would need. Get in touch and we will give you a straight view of what would work for you.
